The talk on using New Zealand Natives in bonsai saw a number of the committee discussing the suitability of many of the common native species.

The talks were illustrated by a large number of NZ Native bonsai which had been brought in to show the differing styles well as several natives not normally used which were on display in the classroom.

During the talk, we discussed the styles suitable for each of the species as well as specific techniques to be used.

At the end of the meeting notes were handed out detailing the experiences of club members with a range of natives.
