Pauline Muth from the USA gave a talk on Shohin

Pauline has a wealth of knowledge and experience towards Bonsai, and has been involved in a number of high-level positions across a number of clubs and societies in America. Her website can be found here: http://www.pfmbonsai.com

The club was then presented with a Powerpoint presentation on Mame & Shohin Bonsai. Various photos and information was given on the two sizes with the main points explained in depth. Suitable species, the growing medium, managing strength were some of the points that were covered. Some helpful hints and options for developing were also given.

Pauline then gave a critique on the trees club members had brought in for the meeting. Plenty of ideas to think about for their owners.
