May’s meeting was all about sharing our knowledge of Maples. Lots of information, a power point presentation by Marshall, handouts & practical tips. Members were shown best varieties (ungrafted) for ease of culture, ramification, trunk development & autumn colour, ie Acer palmatum, Acer campestre (Field Maple) & Acer buergerianum (Trident).
