The meeting proved to be a fun event with plenty of tree on display along with photos of their beginnings for comparison. Ann and Jeff also had a little competition showing then and now photos of famous people for members to try and match up.

The show at Hamilton Gardens on Labour Weekend proved a success. Over 100 trees on display and plenty of visitors. The judge this year was Noel Plowman who gave a talk on why he chose the 10 trees he awarded Merit certificates to on Sunday afternoon. Peter and Les provided the entertainment in the afternoons with their demonstrations.
