The monthly meeting saw Peter give a demonstration on how to create a Bonsai from scratch. Instead of just showing how it was done he invited the audience to choose what style the tree should be and what major branches should go. Because of the time limit on the demonstration Peter had to finish the wiring and jinning afterwards.

Towards the end of the month we arrange to visit members collections in Cambridge, Hamilton, Raglan and Te Kauwhata. A long drive but we were rewarded with looking at some very nice collections all displayed in different ways, giving the members who went on the tour some ideas for adding to their own displays.
