Our normal Sunday afternoon meeting was a Root-over-rock workshop with Jeff giving a talk on how to create a Root-over rock planting and how to avoid some of the pitfalls. This was followed by several members having a go at creating one.

The weekend of July 26th and 27th saw our annual Winter Weekend workshop. This year we had a double header with Dianne and Noel coming down from Kerikeri to run the workshop. Over the weekend members brought their trees to the Potter’s Society rooms for expert advice. Over the weekend there were a couple of trees which provided a challenge for our experienced guests and the end results were fascinating.
