Our next Hamilton Club meeting is this coming Sunday, 12 August, 2:PM at the St. Francis Church Hall at 92 Mansel Avenue, Hamilton East.

A reminder to please bring your own cup or mug for tea or coffee- your hot drink will taste better and help us do our bit to reduce landfill
trash. There will be styrofoam cups if you forget.

The Meeting’s topic is Part 1 on Pines, led by Peter and Aaron.

This from Aaron:

I’ll be giving a brief talk about starting Pine trees from seed, and will have a hand-out covering this process. I also plan to do a quick demo.

I have a bunch of Pine seeds, so if anyone is wanting to join in and plant some seeds please bring along:

• A small pot
• Some sandy/small stone “soil”- ideally seed raising mix.

Part 2 will be part of our December meeting.

For Show and Tell, bring a pine or two. If you don’t have any pines bring something you like.
