    Many thanks to Peter and Ann for the Scotts Pines. Cut out the tap roots, gave them some basic wiring and planted out to fatten up for a couple of years.

    Yes thank you very much Ann & Peter for the Scots Pines. I planted mine last week in the ground but didn’t wire them.
    I was thinking of doing that in Autumn to let them recover and establish first.

    Both plans are fine, just watch the growth of your pines closely Aaron or before you know it they’ll be too rigid to put shape into. We’ve planted ours in raised beds but won’t wire them until later in the year too – when we’re sure they are settled and growing.
