If I were to buy some cut-paste for larger cuts on medium to large trees – would I be better off with the thinner wetter stuff that comes in a tube, or the paste that is similar in consistency to soft Plasticine?

Not a significant difference in price, I just wanted some thoughts on this.

As fare as I know the Bonsai cut past that is like plasticine is for Conifers, where as the one in the tube is for any. Tony likes the tube one for sealing around to outside of large wounds on anything.
